The Kano State Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, Rt. Hon. Nasiru Sule Garo has described the supreme court verdict as a clear testimony of good governance in Nigeria and of course a step forward to Nigerian system of democracy.
Sule Garo made the disclosure through telephone conversation with the Director Public Enlightenment Malan Ismail Garba Gwammaja, shortly after the supreme court verdict of Kano State governorship tussle.
The Commissioner also maintained that, the judiciary arm has proved to be the power of the powerless and urged them to maintain the shinning example for the speedy development of our democratic system in Kano and Nigerian in general.
"He further explained that, what transpires today at the apex court would serve as a detriment and good lesson to others who want to take away what is not meant for them, says Garo".
The Commissioner also enjoined the NNPP supporters in kano to be steadfast and continue to promote government programs and policies at all levels for maximum benefit, he used the medium to once again rejoiced with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo for the landslides victory at the apex court.
