*Need for teamwork synergy among top LG personnel inevitable -D/Gov.*

The State Deputy Governor who is also Commissioner for local governments and Chieftaincy affairs Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, emphasized the need for top Local government personnel to work together in tandem with relevant Organisation's to achieved the desired goals.

The Deputy Governor disclosed this at the declaring ceremony of a two days workshop for top Local government personnel held in Kaduna State.

Comrade Gwarzo who was represented by the Special Adviser to Governor on local government Matters Alh. Garba Umar Durbinde, said the workshop was imperative in view of the urgent need of understanding, cohesion and mutual respect between higher officials of the local government areas, he stressed.

He maintained that Kano State government under the sterling leadership style of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf will continue organised this kind of training to all categories of workers, as they are the key players in achieving government policies and programmes at all levels.

Also Speaking the permanent secretary ministry for local government Alh. Yusuf Datti Hussain has enjoined participants of this workshop to put into practice what they have learnt to improve coordination and operational standard of their various departments and units under their care at the local government areas.

In his goodwill message to the participants, the chairman of the Nigerian union of local government employees (NULGE) Comrade Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo said the workshop is apt and timely in view of the important for head's of department's, Sectional heads, units heads and all other staff of the local government to come together for consolidated support and achievements of the local government objectives.

The Chairman NULGE further enjoined government to consider the inclusion of other segment of the local government staffs in the consequences training for accelerated development of the service at local government levels.
