The Kano North Senatorial Aspirant of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Distinguished Nasiru Sule Garo, has extended his warm congratulations and heartfelt greetings to the people of Kano North Senatorial District on the occasion of the annual Takutaha celebration, held to commemorate the birth of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Distinguished Nasiru Sule Garo described the Takutaha celebration as a significant occasion that reminds Muslims of the exemplary life, teachings, compassion, justice, and peaceful conduct of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
He called on the people of Kano North, particularly the Muslim faithful, to use the occasion to renew their commitment to the virtues of peace, unity, mutual respect, compassion, honesty, and service to humanity, which were central to the teachings and legacy of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The NDC senatorial aspirant also urged traditional rulers, religious leaders, community leaders, youths, women, and other stakeholders to continue promoting peaceful coexistence and unity among the people.
He stressed that sustainable development can only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace, cooperation, mutual understanding, and collective responsibility.
Distinguished Nasiru Sule Garo further prayed that Almighty Allah would accept the acts of worship and prayers of the faithful, bless the people of Kano North and Kano State with lasting peace, progress, and prosperity, and continue to guide the leaders and citizens towards the path of righteousness.
He wished all those celebrating Takutaha a peaceful, blessed, and spiritually rewarding celebration.
