_MD Housing Corp Sensitizes staff On Strict Adherence To Governor Directives On Illegal Allocation of Corner Shops and Curb out in Kano state_*



 

The Managing Director of the Kano State Housing Cooperation,  Alh. Abdullahi Rabiu has once again sensitized  his staff especially those involved in land management to strictly adhere to Governor directives on illegal allocation both in urban and metropolitan areas as directed by the state Governor Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The MD  disclosed this during a meeting with directors of the corperation shortly on relocation to the new site of the Housing Corperation at Kwankwasiyya city.

The meeting aims to further sensitize and review existing laws and policies for the housing cooperation to operate based on the laid down rules and regulations and within its mandate.

A statement issued by the Director Public Enlightenment of the corperation Malan Ismail Gwammaja and made it available to newsmen in Kano.

"Alh Abdullahi  Rabiu further emphasized the need for strict  adhering to due process and ensuring that all staff should desist from engaging themselves in any land racketeering," he emphasized.

"You recall Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has enacted an executive order prohibiting the allocation of land for curve-outs or corner shops under any guise, aiming to curb illegal land allocations and protect public spaces".

Alh. Rabiu pointed out that Kano State Government is committed to upholding the rule of law and protecting the interests of its citizens. 

This initiative demonstrates the government's determination to promote good governance and accountability in the management of public resources.

He then commended staff and management of the cooperation for their yearning and aspirations to the present administration and urged them to maintain the tempo towards achieving the organisational goals, he stressed.
