Muslim in the state have been urged to continue to use the lesson learned during the Ramadan period for Allah"s continue blessing and forgiveness.
The State Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change Dr. Dahiru M. Hashim made the assertion shortly after the Eid-El-Fitr prayer, he prayed for lasting peace and harmony in Kano State and Nigeria at large.
The commissioner also enjoined Muslim Ummah to put in practice all the lessons learnt during the Ramadan period and assist the needy and less privileged in the society.
Dr. Hashim therefore urged people in the state to ensure proper sanitation and environmental Sustainability especially during the Sallah festivities .
"We are grateful to Allah for granting us the strength and endurance to complete the holy month of Ramadan". said Dr. Hashim.
He also Praised the governor's efforts in promoting environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation in Kano State. "The governor's commitment to addressing environmental challenges is commendable, and we look forward to continuing our work together to ensure a cleaner and healthier environment for all" ¹.
The commissioner however, used the occasion to congratulate Governor Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf, Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, the Speaker state assembly Rt. Hon. Ismail Falgore, State Executive Council Members, Emir of Kano Khalifa Muhammad Sanusi ll, and Political mentor Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, other NNPP supporters and Muslim Ummah hitch free Sallah festivity.
